Marketing Analytics Strategist
ROLE OVERVIEW
Croud is an agency with performance and measurement at its core, and our Analytics team is critical to enabling success and growth across our entire client portfolio. As a Marketing Analytics Strategist, you will be responsible for planning, implementing, measuring and communicating analytics strategies for our clients that span the full breadth of a client’s digital presence (web, CRM, media, social).
A successful candidate will be keen to experiment, proactive with solutions, and have a desire to understand the “why” behind every metric or data point.
The overall purpose of this role is to lead the delivery of Analytics services for clients. These services include improving analytics platform capabilities, the accuracy of data collection efforts, and the extent and value of the actionable insights provided by the data. The Marketing Analytics Strategist’s work includes, but is not limited to, the planning, setup, implementation, maintenance and improvement of clients’ testing, analysis, and measurement requirements, as well as CRO strategies, tracking/attribution (i.e. pixel placement), and data aggregation.
As a Marketing Analytics Strategist, you will design, implement, and deliver best in class Analytics and CRO strategies for clients working closely with our Croudie Network (community) for implementation and reporting.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Data Aggregation & Dashboarding: Consolidate cross-channel marketing performance data (paid, organic, CRM, business data) into digestible, automated, and visual reports and dashboards that deliver actionable insights and connect the dots between marketing and business impact.
Experimentation Setup & Management: Develop, implement, and monitor robust testing strategies in partnership with channel experts in Media, CRM, SEO, and Web. Report and iterate on learnings for continuous improvement.
CRO Strategy & Implementation: Develop and implement A/B and multivariate tests and recommend updates to refine campaign strategies for conversion rate optimization.
Performance Analysis & Insights: Deliver ad hoc, monthly, and quarterly insights to optimize campaign performance, customer segmentation, and overall marketing ROI. Present internally & directly to clients.
Attribution Modeling & Customer Journey Analysis: Analyze, define, and recommend customer pathways/acquisitions across touchpoints to improve marketing mix allocation.
CRM Segmentation & Analysis: Support segmentation, frequency optimization, and list health monitoring to accurately track and drive incrementality. Partner with the Media team to leverage CRM data in media audience development.
Website Audits: Evaluate data on website performance and Paid/SEO effectiveness to identify optimization opportunities.
Tracking Implementation: Ensure proper tracking setup, troubleshoot discrepancies, and provide recommendations to enhance data accuracy and reporting capabilities.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Strong background in digital marketing analytics, with special emphasis on performance, KPIs and analytics for Biddable Media (Paid Search, Paid Social, Programmatic, Digital Video), SEO, Web, and/or CRM/Email.
Strong proficiency in data aggregation, automation, and visualization via Looker Studio, with bonus points for experience in Adverity, Tableau, Power BI, Adobe Analytics, Piwik, or similar.
Demonstrated experience setting up and working within Google Analytics (GA4), Google Tag Manager, and/or Adobe Analytics.
Demonstrated experience with online advertising platforms (Google Ads, Campaign Manager)
Demonstrated experience working within CRM platforms such as Klaviyo, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Punchh, Pardot, Mailchimp, etc.
Demonstrated experience implementing A/B testing methodologies and attribution modeling.
Familiarity with CRO best practices and technology (i.e. VWO, Optimizely).
Proficiency in the Google Documents suite (Sheets, Docs, Slides) and Microsoft Excel
Proficiency in working with and managing numbers / data
Proven track record of working to and meeting deadlinesProven time management skills and ability to manage tasks simultaneously
Strong communication, organization, and presentation skills
Experience working in teams to meet a common goal
A mathematical and analytical mind
Desirable:
Previous agency experience a plus but not required
Knowledge of SQL or Python for deeper data manipulation a plus but not required

COMPENSATION
Where an employee or prospective employee is paid within this range will depend on, among other factors, actual ranges for current/former employees in the subject position, market considerations, budgetary considerations, tenure and standing with the Company (applicable to current employees), as well as the employee’s/applicant’s skill set, level of experience, and qualifications.
