This is a client-facing, front-line management role for a highly intelligent, charismatic and creative thinking practitioner, who is passionate about digital marketing and specifically retail media marketplaces such as Amazon and Walmart.
The successful candidate will demonstrate account and channel expertise, strive for repeatable success and have a desire to question everything in pursuit of operational and client service excellence. They will be expected to provide bold and confident recommendations and sound leadership, backed by innovative flair and analytical experience.
The ideal candidate will support planning, creating, managing, and optimizing paid advertising campaigns in Amazon Ads, Walmart Connect and in future, other retail media platforms.
As an Account Manager, the ideal candidate will have a responsibility to manage and mentor associates, support and develop client relationships, provide deep platform expertise, and contribute to department and channel best practices.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Set Marketplace strategy that deliver profitable growth on behalf of our clients
- Deliver and oversee implementation for key platforms such as Amazon (both Vendor and Seller), ensuring operational excellence
- Supporting Retail Media team on the day to day management of Amazon services for our clients:
- PDP (Product Detail Page) optimization
- Paid advertising strategies in AMS
- Loading in new A+ content
- Setting-up/updating Amazon Stores
- Reporting & analysis
- Updating product data/ specifications/ Images/ Pricing/ Discounts etc
- Advise on inventory management where required
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and internal stakeholders (i.e. cross functional teams)
- Deliver and oversee implementation for key platforms such as Amazon (both Vendor and Seller), ensuring operational excellence
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and internal stakeholders (i.e. cross functional teams)
- Support business development by contributing to pitches and cross-selling Croud Retail Media capabilities to existing clients
- Support the create and deliver flawless client-facing reports, based on accurate data and insightful analysis
- Support the development of, and deliver account development plans or roadmaps based on client campaign briefs or on client KPIs
- Manage and develop Associates, including task delegation, training coordination, ad hoc constructive feedback, and Croud’s career development framework process.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- At least 3 years experience in digital marketing, demonstrating deep experience and knowledge in digital account management with a track record of exceeding performance goals against sales-related KPIs (purchases, subscribers, etc.)
- Expert knowledge of Retail Media marketplace best practices
- Strong technical skills with a minimum of 2 years hands on Amazon platform experience
- Experience in 3rd party retail media management tools such as Skai, Pacvue, Criteo Retail Media, etc. a plus
- Proven experience in client expectation management roles and situations, able to manage and direct client expectations
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proven problem solver who can support and manage clients deliverables and projects to deadlines
- Solutions orientated with a growth mindset
- Strong numeracy and analytical skills, with impeccable attention to detail
- Enjoy and understand working with data, especially via Microsoft Excel
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business admin, or related major a plus
- Experience with paid social media, programmatic, or other channels is beneficial

COMPENSATION
Salary Range for this position is $85,000 - $95,000 per year (DOE).
Where an employee or prospective employee is paid within this range will depend on; among other factors, actual ranges for current/former employees in the subject position, market considerations, budgetary considerations, tenure and standing with the Company (applicable to current employees), as well as the employee’s/applicant’s skill set, level of experience, and qualifications.
Standard hours are from 9.00am to 5.30pm, there’s flexibility if agreed in advance with your line managers (it may also be necessary on occasions to work outside of these hours).
