PROGRAM OVERVIEW
Our paid internship program is all about making the industry more diverse and giving real opportunities to people from underrepresented backgrounds. Whether you're a person of color, LGBTQIA+, neurodivergent, have a disability or mental health condition, come from a working-class background, or don’t fit into traditional labels—we want to help you break into the field. You'll learn from Croud’s experts, gain hands-on experience, and work on exciting projects that make an impact.
For 12 weeks from mid-May to mid-August, you'll join our team in a part-time capacity to gain valuable, hands-on experience in our Atlanta office, in collaboration with teams in New York and the UK.
What you’ll gain:
You’ll have an opportunity for global mentorship and exposure to a wide variety of departments and clients. You will build industry expertise and a professional network that will set you up for success.
Hands-on Experience – 12 weeks of real client work and digital marketing exposure.
Mentorship & Networking – Learn from industry leaders and connect with professionals.
Cross-Functional Learning – Gain experience across multiple teams and disciplines.
Capstone Project – Collaborate with fellow interns on a real-world challenge.
Professional Development – Build key skills in research, strategy, communication, and execution.
Confidence & Growth – Step outside your comfort zone and develop skills for the future.
What you’ll bring to the table:
Curiosity about the ‘why’ – you love to go under the hood and understand how things work, spot trends and themes that drive progress or change, and think critically about the steps or components that came together to create an outcome
Excitement for experimentation – you’re all about trying new things and learning as you go, always looking for ways to improve results as well as the process that gets you there
Appetite to spot + seize opportunities – you are a self-starter who manifests their own destiny by being proactive, organized, and strategic about projects
A team-oriented mentality – you can and do work well independently, but enjoy the camaraderie and outcomes that come from working in a team environment
How to apply: You’re welcome to submit a resume, but since this program is all about unlocking potential within candidates who are looking to break into the field, we’re more interested in understanding who you are than what you’ve done previously. Don’t sweat it if your past doesn’t look like your ideal career path forward.
We want to get a feel for how you think by reviewing your response to the following prompt. Feel free to respond in a format that makes sense to you; we recommend a short slide deck (5-7 slides), brief video (3-5 minutes), or a written response (max 750 words).
Identify a brand or local business that you believe is under-marketed and has an opportunity to unlock its potential. What are they missing out on, what's your idea to address that, and how would you measure success?
Keep your recommendation realistic and practical. We are not looking for perfect answers or marketing jargon.
We’re looking for:
Clear, structured thinking
Curiosity about human behavior
Ability to connect ideas to outcomes
Practical creativity
Ownership and initiative
Communication clarity
