As a PR & Communications Manager, the successful candidate is expected to be a media-savvy all-rounder who can lead by example and has a proven track record of:
Securing high-volume, strategic media coverage in top-tier trade and business outlets.
Building strong relationships with reporters and editors at Adweek, AdAge, Digiday, Drum, Campaign, Forbes, Inc., and Entrepreneur.
Placing thought leadership for executives and driving coverage for product launches, service line expansions, and new business wins.
Raising profiles of key Croud executives in the industry across platforms, including podcast placements and earned speaking opportunities at industry tentpoles.
Developing compelling narratives around AI, tech, and marketing trends that resonate with industry press.
Working closely with US and global marketing and leadership teams on cross-departmental initiatives.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop and execute proactive PR strategies that raise brand awareness and align with business goals.
Cultivate and maintain deep relationships with key journalists in marketing trades and business media.
Draft high-impact press materials including releases, advisories, pitches, and bylines.
Partner with US and global leadership, marketing, and product teams to identify newsworthy story angles.
Activating and placing original research and intelligence in US media.
Preparing executives for media opportunities, including messaging, talking points, and interview preparation.
Pitching and securing earned panel and keynote opportunities.
Monitoring and reporting on media coverage, using analytics to refine outreach.
Supporting reactive, crisis, and internal communications when required.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
3–5 years of PR or external communications experience (agency or in-house).
Demonstrated success placing stories with top marketing and business publications.
Strong, existing, and proven press relationships within the marketing and business media landscape.
Excellent writing, editing, and storytelling skills.
Understanding of AI, tech, and digital marketing industry trends.
Skilled in media monitoring and analytics tools (e.g., Cision, Meltwater).
Able to work cross-functionally with internal teams and external partners.

The salary range for this position is $85,000 to $100,000 (DOE)
Standard hours are from 9.00am to 5.30pm, there’s flexibility if agreed in advance with your line managers (it may also be necessary on occasions to work outside of these hours).
