This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated Project Manager to play a key role in delivering successful digital marketing projects within Croud’s client portfolio. You will be responsible for managing project timelines, coordinating and scheduling people, and ensuring projects and deliverables are delivered on time and within budget.
You will work closely with specialist teams to ensure efficient project execution and maintain clear communication with clients. You will leverage your understanding of digital marketing and your strong organizational skills to contribute to the success of our client campaigns.
This role requires a proactive and detail-oriented individual who can effectively manage project tasks, identify potential roadblocks, and implement solutions to ensure smooth project delivery. You will work to improve account management, deliverables planning, timelines, and stakeholder management.
You will play an integral role within our triumvirate structure. That means you will be one of three leaders responsible for driving success across a client portfolio - which we call our team of teams structure. You’ll work in close partnership with the Managing Partner, and Planning Lead to drive business growth, profitability as well as a number of other KPIs outlined below.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Operational Oversight & Project Execution:
- Oversee day to day operational delivery across key multi channel accounts ensuring work is delivered on time and within budget (i.e. to target margin)
- Manage projects end to end ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
- Collaborate with specialist teams to define project scopes, estimate and prioritise key deliverables.
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, including key milestones and dependencies.
- Assist in the development of building client roadmaps.
- Present project updates and status updates to clients.
- Monitor project progress against scope and hold internal stakeholders accountable.
- Effectively lead internal and external status meetings to drive meaningful outcomes for our clients and
- Reporting and Communication
- Prepare and deliver client progress reports and RAG status reports.
- Track and review hours burndown reporting (resource to client fee).
- Communicate project progress to clients across paid media, SEO, and data solutions.
- Simplify complex updates for client understanding
- Risk Management
- Identify and escalate potential project risks to senior team members
- Assist in the development of risk mitigation plans.
- Operational Excellence
- Contribute to the implementation of standardised operational processes.
- Suggest and design areas for improvement in Croud’s ways of working.
- Facilitate effective communication and collaboration between internal stakeholders.
- Assist in training internal teams on effective account management and project management best practices.
- Support the adoption of automations and tools to improve efficiency.
- Resource Management & Scheduling
- Within your client portfolio you'll work with specialists to look ahead at key milestones and events and schedule people's time.
- Adjust hours allocation as required for those within your team of teams to ensure people are effectively utilised.
- Client and Stakeholder Engagement
- Build and maintain strong relationships with client stakeholders
- Support senior team members in managing client communications
- Deliver clear and concise project updates to stakeholders
- Support the implementation of new processes and technologies.

PERSON SPECIFICATION
- Exceptional Organisational Acumen: Demonstrated ability to design and optimise key processes, establish and maintain structured workflows and drive continuous process improvement across complex projects and teams.
- Depth of expertise: Understanding of a core digital marketing discipline (e.g., paid media, SEO, data solutions) coupled with a proven ability to translate technical knowledge into simplified client language.
- A self-starter with an ambitious and entrepreneurial spirit: a track record of driving commercial success.
COMPANY BENEFITS
Croud operates a hybrid working model with a minimum of 3 days a week based in our Shrewsbury office and the remaining days from home if you wish. This role has a UK responsibility and will involve regular travel to London.

Standard hours are from 9.00am to 5.30pm, there’s flexibility if agreed in advance with your line managers (it may also be necessary on occasions to work outside of these hours).
