A benchmarked salary between £113,000 - £128,000. Your salary level is determined by skills and experience within our progression framework.

ROLE OVERVIEW
The Head of FP&A acts as a strategic Business Partner across the agency, working closely with the CFO to drive global initiatives and provide high-level Decision Support.
This role is responsible for the delivery of robust rolling forecasts, development of the annual budget, commercial pricing frameworks, and operational efficiency metrics. You will lead a proactive function with a high amount of exposure within and outside the business that translates global data into actionable insights, predominantly across the UK and US markets.
RESPONSIBILITIES
CFO Partnership & Global Initiatives
Strategic Right-Hand: Work closely with the CFO to execute global initiatives, including M&A integration support, international market expansion, and capital allocation strategies.
Business Partner to the Business: Act as the primary financial partner to individual business units and departments, providing direct support to Department Heads to drive performance and accountability.
Strategic Advisory: Identify risks and opportunities within the global P&L and provide the CFO with data-driven recommendations to protect and grow EBITDA.
Management Information (MI) & Reporting Automation
Enhancing MI: Develop and enhance Management Information packs to provide the agency with deeper, more granular insights into performance across different service lines and territories.
Automated Reporting: Leverage best-in-class tools to automate the delivery of regular reporting suites, reducing manual intervention and increasing speed to insight.
Standardised Dashboards: Create and maintain agency-wide dashboards that track ADR (Average Daily Rate), Gross Margin by Client, and Revenue per Head.
Agency Forecasting & Financial Modeling
Budgeting & Rolling Forecasts: Lead the development of the annual budget and maintain the agency’s 12–18 month rolling forecast model to provide robust, data-driven projections.
Accuracy & Variance: Lead monthly P&L variance analysis for departments and business units, focusing on explaining commercial drivers and recommending corrective actions.
Global Scaling: Refine financial models required to support international growth, specifically scaling operations in the US market.
Operational Visibility & Margin Protection
Utilisation & Realisation: Manage agency-wide reporting for staff utilization and realization. Translate operational metrics into commercial insights to assist in optimizing resource allocation.
Sales Operations Support: Manage global pipeline hygiene within the CRM to ensure data integrity and accurate revenue weighting for forecasts.
Expense Management: Assist in the management and forecasting of global operating expenses, ensuring spend is aligned with the agency's growth roadmap.
Automation & System Improvements
Technology Optimisation: Leverage best-in-class tools to automate workflows and aggressively reduce spreadsheet dependency across the global finance function.
Data Harmonisation: Continuously improve and automate data flows (CRM to Finance) to ensure a single source of truth across all agency business units.
Standardisation: Refine and implement consistent commercial workflows globally to ensure data integrity and audit-readiness for Private Equity requirements.
PERSON SPECIFICATION
Professional Qualification: Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or international equivalent).
Experience: 8+ years in Finance, including experience in Private Equity-backed environments.
Industry Context: Proven background in Digital Advertising or Media Agencies.
Global Exposure: Experience managing financial strategy or driving initiatives across a global footprint, predominantly the UK and US.
Systems & Automation: Track record of leveraging technology to automate reporting and manual processes; experience managing system upgrades.
Technical Mastery: Advanced financial modeling; high proficiency in modern CRM, ERP, and FP&A software stacks.

Standard hours are from 9.00am to 5.30pm, there’s flexibility if agreed in advance with your line managers (it may also be necessary on occasions to work outside of these hours).
