We are looking for a talented and driven Senior Implementation Engineer to join our Analytics Activation Team. In this vital role, you will lead the implementation of advanced analytics tracking solutions, helping clients unlock the full potential of their digital data. By collaborating with stakeholders across the UK and US, you will shape strategic analytics roadmaps, stay at the forefront of industry advancements, and deliver impactful, best-in-class tracking solutions. RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design, implement, and meticulously maintain analytics tracking solutions using advanced tag management systems, such as Google Tag Manager or Tealium, prioritising a focus on specific GMP solutions relevant to our clients' needs.
- Spearhead the configuration and deployment of analytics tags, pixels, and event tracking scripts across diverse digital platforms, including websites, mobile apps, and other interfaces.
- Conduct rigorous testing and validation procedures to guarantee the accuracy and integrity of data collection, proactively identifying and resolving any issues related to tracking discrepancies or implementation errors.
- Implement robust measurement solutions for mobile applications, leveraging tools like Firebase to track user behaviour, engagement, and conversions.
- Evaluate and implement Consent Mode across client websites and applications to ensure compliance with data privacy regulations and maintain data integrity.
- Develop and deploy server-side tagging implementations via server-side Google Tag Manager (sGTM) to enhance data security, improve website performance and data collection.
- Innovate custom tracking solutions and scripts to capture nuanced user interactions and events, facilitating advanced analytics reporting and insights generation.
- Document comprehensive analytics implementation requirements, configurations, and best practices for internal knowledge sharing and client training purposes, ensuring transparency and clarity in all processes.
- Client satisfaction and growth of each account. You’ll be passionate and committed to delivering client satisfaction. Keep each client on a trajectory of revenue growth, hitting targets year-on-year.

- Stay abreast of industry news, emerging trends, and technologies in analytics tracking and digital marketing, leveraging insights to drive continuous improvement and innovation within the organisation.
PERSON SPECIFICATION
- Degree-level education or equivalent relevant work experience
- We are seeking candidates with extensive, demonstrable experience in marketing analytics, preferably gained within agencies and through direct client collaboration
- The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in delivering impactful analytics solutions, showcasing their ability to translate complex data into actionable insights and drive measurable business outcomes
- You’re able to adopt an owner mindset.
- You’re an excellent communicator. You can edit and refine complex ideas and descriptions, and produce exactly the messages and narratives that work for your audience and stakeholders. Proficiency in articulating technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders, coupled with a proven track record of effective collaboration within cross-functional teams and external developers.
- You’re very familiar with the Google Marketing Platform ad tech stack, including GA4, GTM/sGTM,, Firebase, and methods such as pixel tracking, Enhanced conversions, and CAPI. It’s desirable, not essential, to understand other tools like Tealium or Segment.
- You’re familiar with server-side tagging and tracking, and with the potential in Customer Data Platforms, broadly.
- You can confidently discuss the issues and solutions relating to privacy in adtech, such as GA’s Consent Mode or OneTrust.

Standard hours are from 9.00am to 5.30pm, there’s flexibility if agreed in advance with your line managers (it may also be necessary on occasions to work outside of these hours).
