Web Experience Manager (Technical SEO Manager)

We are looking for a Web Experience Manager who is driven and dedicated to taking on new and exciting challenges. Applicants should enjoy helping and educating others, working in a collaborative environment both internally and externally, and working with a wide range of clients, each presenting their own issues, challenges and opportunities.
Within this role you will become an extension of our clients, supporting on our Northern American based SEO client list, and supporting both clients and our US SEO account team in resolving a variety of issues and identifying opportunities to improve their websites.
You should be adept at solving problems and working with front-end code such as HTML, CSS and JavaScript. To see the changes implemented on websites, you will need to work closely with developers and clearly communicate the requirements and expected outcomes.
The overall purpose of this role is to support the Global Web Experience Team in managing and implementing technical strategies and to provide clients with consultancy on various obstacles, challenges and opportunities posed on their websites. You will play a big part in collaborating with relevant stakeholders and client teams, ensuring that clients don’t have to worry about technical issues and can rely on you to provide them with sufficient support.
You will also have the opportunity in a unique and exciting challenge: supporting the Global Web Experience team with establishing the proposition in the United States, where supporting our colleagues in the New York offices is paramount.
With a range of network specialists, internal resources, tools and technologies at your disposal, you should have a strong ability to manage projects, clients and development teams directly in order to successfully meet the clients business objectives and targets,

Croud operates a hybrid working model with a minimum of 3 days a week based in our London Office and the remaining days from home if you wish.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Auditing and reviewing websites to identify obstacles, opportunities and technical challenges - providing consultation on how to improve clients websites and usability
- Formulating and delivering technical roadmaps based on identified tasks and scoping the hours required from our side to provide full support
- Creation of clear requirement documentation that developers can easily understand and digest
- Advocating best practises as established by Croud, W3c and search engines, ensuring that the clients’ websites adhere to policies as well as ensuring that all technical opportunities will be explored
- Complete Croudie administration, project managing assigned work, ensuring briefs to the network are comprehensive and accurate and quality checking returned work is to excellent standard
- Proactively learn about new technologies and ways of working, how to monitor market trends in order to support internal growth and efficiency strategies
- Communicate directly with client stakeholders to ensure that the technical strategy and technical requirements are clear and can be implemented up to a high standard
- Supporting clients with ad-hoc technical queries
- Helping the Web Experience team with improving training material, both Croud Academy and internal documentation
PERSON SPECIFICATION
- Degree level education or equivalent / relevant work experience
- Demonstrable experience working within SEO or front-end development roles
- Experience with data analytical tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush etc.
- Experience using tools for Core Web Vitals and pages speed such as PageSpeed Insights, Chrome DevTools and Lighthouse as well as WebPageTest.
- Strong interest in / passion for digital marketing and / or SEO
- Strong interest in front-end development and coding / markup
- Strong Microsoft Office and / or Gsuite (Google) skills which must include Excel / Sheets, Word / Docs and PowerPoint / Slides
- Proficiency in data entry, working with and managing numbers / data
- Proven track record of working to and meeting deadlines
- Proven time management skills and ability to manage tasks simultaneously
- Impeccable attention to detail
- A mathematical and analytical mind
- Ability to work with remote team members autonomously with minimal supervision
- Ability to manipulate large amounts of data
- Highly organised and an ability to multitask
- Strong communication, organisation, and presentation skills

Standard hours are from 9.00am to 5.30pm, there’s flexibility if agreed in advance with your line managers (it may also be necessary on occasions to work outside of these hours).
