We are looking for a highly intelligent, charismatic and creative thinking individual who is passionate about SEO to join our team in New York City.
The role will support senior leadership out of our New York office. You will be responsible for the management and delivery of SEO scopes for our clients, using both internal resources and our network of specialists, in order to achieve client business objectives and targets.
This is a mid-level position suited for a well-rounded SEO, experienced in technical and on-page SEO. The successful candidate will be a fantastic people-person who can distill complex SEO issues into meaningful, business orientated actions for their clients.
As SEO Manager, you will take the lead with client communication, regularly work with, and make sense of, large data-sets, promote a positive internal team structure and ultimately, be someone who wants to build a career as an SEO consultant.
RESPONSIBILITIES
The SEO Manager supports ongoing delivery and growth for clients. This will include, but is not limited to:
Account Management & Delivery
Set and implement client SEO strategy in tangent with the SEO Senior Managers & SEO Directors in order to drive real positive SEO outcomes for Croud clients
Drive the implementation and development of client Account Development Plans (ADPs) and client strategy within your client portfolio in order to sustain and grow client performance
Innovate new ideas, techniques, and new products suitable for the continuation and development of client strategy
Drive client performance management activities across the team to include: optimization activities, innovation towards client performance, daily checks and best practice processes
Ensure excellence and high-quality client implementation coming from the Croudie Network including but not limited to: editorial, optimization, and engine mirrors. Ensure briefs to the network are comprehensive and accurate, QA work is completed to a high degree
Completing data analysis to spot trends, patterns, challenges and successes using the support of the Croudie network. Identifying and troubleshooting anomalies within SEO data and taking corrective actions
Deliver excellence in required communication and client service standards for each client as well as generally
Contribute to internal training and development modules and delivery sessions as required. Everyone is responsible to deliver training modules internally to encourage shared learning across the SEO team
Proactively identify workflow efficiencies to counter ineffective process within the team – new ways of working, continuous process improvement
Proactively keep abreast of industry news and contribute suggestions as to how Croud can incorporate this into our methodologies to improve the department
Contributing to and supporting Croud marketing activities
Challenge and refine SEO practices and scalable processes using our Croudie Network
Contribute to the internal case study process, delivering world class case studies showcasing Croud and our client’s shared success stories
Contribute to the new business process, and pitching

You understand the complexities of Javascript, HTML and CSS
Strong Microsoft Office skills which must include Excel, Word and PowerPoint
You love solving complex SEO challenges relating to crawling and indexing
Familiarity with SEO tools such as Screaming Frog, Google Search Console, Google Analytics, Ahrefs, & SEMrush
A mathematical and analytical mind
Ability to manipulate large amounts of data
Building charts and decks that tell a story is a process you have been through successfully many times before

Salary Range for this position is $75,000 - $90,000 per year (DOE).
Where an employee or prospective employee is paid within this range will depend on; among other factors, actual ranges for current/former employees in the subject position, market considerations, budgetary considerations, tenure and standing with the Company (applicable to current employees), as well as the employee’s/applicant’s skill set, level of experience, and qualifications.
We operate on a hybrid model of 3 days in office per week. Standard hours are from 9.00am to 5.30pm, there’s flexibility if agreed in advance with your line managers (it may also be necessary on occasions to work outside of these hours).
