We are seeking a proactive and experienced People (HR) Business Partner to join our team. This Business Partner will play a pivotal role in aligning our people's initiatives and functions with business objectives and needs. This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong background in people management who can navigate the complexities of a growing digital marketing business operating across multiple regions. This role will report directly to the Head of People Operations.
RESPONSIBILITIES

Strategic People Partnership:
- Collaborate with management to develop and implement People strategies that align with business goals.
- Provide People guidance and support to your business areas, people leaders and team members on HR-related matters, including performance management, employee relations, and talent development.
- Innovate and support through informed decisions driven by data and analysis, including consistent and regular reporting.
Talent Acquisition and Retention: -
Partner with our Talent Acquisition team to ensure best practices for onboarding and retention strategies
Employee Relations and Engagement: - Foster a positive work environment through effective conflict resolution and employee engagement initiatives.
- Manage more complex employee relations issues and escalate where appropriate to Head of.
Training and Development: -
Partner with our Learning and Development team, to help identify training needs and coordinate professional development programs to enhance employee skills and career growth.
Performance Management: - Provide coaching and support to managers on performance management issues.
- Strive to unlock potential in business, team, and individual performance through effective people practices.
Compensation and Benefits: - Input to ensure competitive and equitable compensation practices along with being responsible for data accuracy during the monthly payroll duties.
- Be involved in employee benefits programs.
People Policy and Compliance: - Develop and update people policies and procedures in line with employment laws and industry best practices.
- Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations in the UK and EMEA.
- Ensure compliance with visa requirements and GDPR where applicable.
Change Management: - Support organisational change initiatives and provide guidance on managing transitions effectively.
- Assist in the communication and implementation of change management strategies.
PERSON SPECIFICATION
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- Proven experience as an HR Business Partner or in a similar people role, preferably within the digital marketing or tech industry.
- Strong understanding of UK employment laws and regulations.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to build effective relationships at all levels of the organisation.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Great attention to detail
- HR certification (CIPD, SHRM, or equivalent) is a plus.
- Demonstrate flexibility and ability to respond to the evolving needs of a fast-paced and dynamic business.
- Perform other duties as required to meet the needs of the business, supporting cross-functional initiatives and contributing to the overall business success.

Croud operates a hybrid working model with a minimum of 3 days a week based in our London office and the remaining days from home if you wish.
