Senior Agency Marketing Manager

We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Senior Marketing Manager to spearhead our global marketing strategy. This role will oversee the execution of multi-channel campaigns, manage brand positioning, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to align marketing initiatives with business goals. You will lead a range of activities, including thought leadership, digital marketing, website, SEO, PR, and social media, contributing to Croud’s continued brand evolution.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide leadership and execute Croud’s global marketing strategy, partnering with the Head of Marketing and junior team members, and working closely with Head of Comms, Sales team and other key stakeholders.
- Ideate the marketing & content calendar in line with demand gen / lead gen activations. This will include hero campaign ideas, through to BAU social content - ensuring clear content pillars are established with agency proposition in mind.
- Enhance brand visibility and client acquisition through effective brand positioning and messaging.
- Lead the design and execution of Croud's presence at key industry and partner events, including full ownership of curating Croud’s client and prospect events.
- Collaborate with internal teams to drive excitement and collaboration around marketing initiatives, ensuring alignment with wider business objectives.
- Analyse and optimise campaign performance, using metrics to improve results.
- Establish a clear reporting framework and feedback culture amongst both the sales & marketing team function (on collaborative initiatives).
- Manage and mentor junior marketing team members, fostering growth and high performance.
- Grow the CRM through targeted newsletters and campaigns, ensuring consistent engagement with our audience. Creativity is encouraged, ideate new ways of maintaining our brand proposition in line with agency communications strategy.
- Oversee content creation for multiple channels that is on-brand, channel-optimised, and designed to drive engagement within target audiences. This may include thought pieces and press releases.
- Lead website optimisation efforts, ensuring it reflects the agency’s latest work, services, and unique selling points (USPs).
- Uphold agency visual content & brand guidelines, ensuring consistency across the agency.
- Consistently optimise SEO efforts, you will work closely with our trusted Croudie’s to implement an effective SEO strategy.
- Manage agency partnerships and opportunities to elevate thought leadership and create content opportunities for the team.
- Lead our agency case study process, identifying the impact our agency work has on existing clients - ensure this is communicated across our website and contributes towards our agency awards strategy.
PERSON SPECIFICATION
- Proven experience working in a digital marketing agency, either managing clients or within the marketing/business development team.
- Deep understanding of digital marketing channels, including SEO, social media, paid media, influencer marketing, and content creation.
- Excellent communicator, comfortable engaging diverse audiences across mediums—whether through events, media interactions, or written content.
- Strong eye for detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work, with a focus on continuous improvement.
- Ability to balance strategic thinking with practical execution to achieve measurable results.
- Enthusiastic about industry trends and digital marketing evolution, with a proactive approach to driving change and innovation

Standard hours are from 9.00am to 5.30pm, there’s flexibility if agreed in advance with your line managers (it may also be necessary on occasions to work outside of these hours).
