What makes you passionate about what you do?
Data Viz gets to work with all the different channels meaning no two days are the same; I love that everyday a number of different puzzles that need to be solved across the business are thrown my way.
What led you to Croud?
I was aware of Croud before applying but was actually told about the open role by a good friend who also works here! I had heard amazing things and stories about working at Croud so as soon as a position in Data Viz opened up I didn’t waste any time.
What is the most fulfilling thing about working at Croud?
The amazing, diverse team of people I get to work with day in and day out [is the most fulfilling part about working at Croud]. The high level of camaraderie and professionalism make this a very strong company to work for. There’s never a dull moment.
What is your favorite piece of career advice?
There’s no such thing as a silly question and that everyone has to start somewhere. There’s always room to grow and every experience is a learning opportunity.
How does your team inspire you?
My team is always willing to lend a hand. No matter how busy one of us is, if someone asks a question or needs a second opinion we all come together to work out the best solution. Each individual is important to the team and their voice is always heard.
Describe your journey with Croud so far.
My journey at Croud has been eventful. Demanding and involved at many times but my managers continue to support and achieve the challenging goals set. The high caliber of guidance and mentoring at Croud has been beneficial to my personal development.
What was your very first job?
My first paid job was working on a pinecone farm where I was required to strip seedlings from sawn off branches and pack them for nurseries for the National Trust. This wasn’t the most fun thing to do in the pouring rain!
