We are looking for an experienced and talented Ecommerce professional. As Amazon Marketplace Director, you will support the continued growth and development of Croud’s Amazon channel, providing first class client services for clients already established on Amazon and for those wishing to get started. 

The role is focused primarily on operational best practice: establishing and leading our implementation process and providing ongoing support to clients (and our campaigns team) on best practice setup on Amazon, covering everything from logistics & fulfilment to issue resolution with Amazon themselves. You will also be responsible for coordinating content production and overseeing the upload of new content over time.



  • Develop and oversee our implementation / on-boarding process for Amazon
  • Advise clients on the best way to get set up on Amazon
  • Oversee the account setup where required
  • Set up brand registry
  • Fulfilment & logistics support
  • Advise clients on fulfilment options (FBA, FBM, Seller Fulfilled Prime etc)
  • Issue resolution with Amazon support
  • Coordinate content production and update of new content (A+ content, PDP optimisation, store development, image optimisation and pricing adjustments)
  • Establish best practice approach to take when setting up new accounts
  • Develop client relationships and advise on the best channel strategy in collaboration with our campaigns team
  • New Business support:
    • Audit Amazon accounts to identify opportunities for prospects and existing clients
    • Retail readiness audits
    • Cost analysis for different fulfilment routes
    • Market research & competitor analysis
    • Pitch material & support with RFIs/RFPs
    • Possible attendance to pitch meetings/discussions with new clients
  • Review latest blogs & developments on Amazon which we can apply to clients
  • Provide training & development for the wider agency teams on Amazon best practices
  • Analyse sales trends and marketplace performance
  • Analyse category store analytics
  • Establish test & learn processes for new content production
  • Develop relationships with Amazon and 3rd party tech partners
  • Stay ahead of developments and functionality available via Amazon’s APIs and third party tech providers


  • Demonstrable experience running Amazon marketplace activity
  • Experience setting up new accounts from scratch
  • Full knowledge of Seller Central & Vendor Central platform
  • Experience working with 3rd party logistics companies and distribution centers
  • Experience setting up FBA for businesses
  • Inventory management best practice
  • Experience setting up Brand Registry
  • Product listing improvements and new content uploads
  • Successful issue resolution with Amazon to ensure timely execution account changes
  • Knowledge of all advertising formats on Amazon, their targeting methods and tactics
  • Well organised with a can do attitude
  • Really strong communication skills (verbal & written)
  • Strong commercial awareness

It will be advantageous if you also have:

  • Experience running AMS campaigns
  • Experience using 3rd party tech platforms specific to Amazon
  • Client management experience
  • Hands on experience optimising product detail pages: text, imagery, A+ content
  • Hands on experience creating Amazon Stores

Standard hours are from 9.00am to 5.30pm, there’s flexibility if agreed in advance with your line managers (it may also be necessary on occasions to work outside of these hours).
