ROLE OVERVIEW


The overall purpose of the role is to help support the agencies client optimisation strategy and to develop the CRO service.

While taking responsibility for current clients, a large part of the role will be to identify opportunities to increase conversions for our broad client portfolio across our paid media channels. As such, the ideal candidate will have an understanding of all digital marketing channels and be naturally commercially astute to aid in the identification and creation of testing proposals.

MAIN ACTIVITIES / DUTIES


  • Work with the Head of Analytics and Digital Analytics Managers to aid in the creation/delivery of A/B tests and/or UX based studies to the appropriate timescales, budgets and platforms
  • Aid in the Identification of opportunities for optimisation based on site analytics, reports, experience and digital best practices
  • Aid in the development of the network to deliver CRO test builds, hypothesis and test plans, user feedback surveys and voice of customer studies. This includes, but is not limited to, aiding in the recruitment of relevant skilled Croudies, training and certifying Croudies and building task templates to ensure consistency of delivery
  • Evolving the personalisation of customer experience across all online touch points with the ultimate aim of improving conversions across key user journeys
  • Provide insight and optimisation recommendations to the wider Croud Channel teams

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE


  • Strong attention to detail
  • Effective time management skills - ability to prioritise and meet deadlines
  • Familiarity with the tools and techniques of digital marketing
  • Internet literate, with a strong interest in user experience and user interface design
  • Knowledge of digital analytics using Google, Adobe or similar digital analytics solutions
  • Interest in consumer and web trends, and the range of digital routes to market
  • An ability to communicate persuasively, with focus and clarity, in both writing and speech
  • Numeracy and grasp of logic essential to data analysis
  • The creativity necessary for designing innovative solutions, challenging assumptions, and imagining unusual hypotheses
  • Commitment to delivering great work, on time, for your colleagues and clients
  • Web optimisation experience (A/B testing, multivariate testing, analytics) or experience with online testing platforms such as Google Optimize, VWO, Optimizely, Sitespec, Maxymiser etc. very beneficial
  • Knowledge of HTML, CSS tools is a plus

Standard hours are from 9.00am to 5.30pm, there’s flexibility if agreed in advance with your line managers (it may also be necessary on occasions to work outside of these hours).
