We’re looking for a dynamic and proactive Workplace & Culture Coordinator to bring fresh energy, creativity, and community spirit to our Shrewsbury office. This role sits at the intersection of workplace operations, employee engagement, and culture-building, acting as the heartbeat of our local office experience and driving participation in key community events, both internal and external.
You’ll play a key role in supporting workplace operations while actively contributing to initiatives that boost team morale, foster inclusivity, and amplify Croud’s vibrant culture through creative content and event support. You’ll also serve as a local touchpoint for delivering a shared cultural vision across our global workplaces, ensuring alignment with company-wide initiatives while championing meaningful, locally relevant experiences.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Workplace Operations & Visitor Experience
- Support day-to-day operations of the Shrewsbury workplace to ensure a smooth, professional, and welcoming environment
- Greet visitors, clients, and employees with an exceptional manner
- Coordinate meeting rooms, support with managing office supplies, and workplace health, safety, and sustainability initiatives
- Maintain an organised, tidy, and inviting workspace
Culture, Communications & Engagement
- Lead and support engagement within Croud Communities, focusing on Shrewsbury’s local events and cultural initiatives (e.g., Pride, team activities)
- Rally colleagues around social and cultural events, from planning to execution, driving broad participation and enthusiasm
- Capture and create engaging content (photos, videos, social media) that showcases the Shrewsbury workplace and culture to share on internal & external social platforms.
- Celebrate the Shrewsbury team's achievements by capturing moments and stories that showcase our people, projects, and office life - creating internal content that builds pride and connection.
- Create light-touch, engaging video snippets (e.g. team shout-outs, behind-the-scenes clips, day-in-the-life content) to spotlight our people and foster connection across Croud’s global offices - with potential to share internally and externally.
- Support workplace communication strategies and internal channels (Digital signage, newsletters, etc.) to keep everyone informed, safe, and connected
- Promote awareness of Group-wide communities and initiatives, helping Shrewsbury connect with the broader company culture
Community & Event Coordination
- Drive engagement within Croud Communities and support local event planning and execution, including managing invitations, RSVPs, and on-the-day coordination
- Work with teams across departments and locations to improve workplace culture and the employee experience
- Assist with the organisation and facilitation of team workshops, away days, and team-building activities
- Lead or support ad hoc projects related to workplace culture and community engagement
PERSON SPECIFICATION
- Previous experience in workplace coordination, office management, or a customer-facing role
- Passionate about culture, community engagement, and creating an inclusive workplace environment
- Hard working with excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting
- Creative mindset with basic social media content creation skills (photography, video, social media)
- Highly sociable with strong communication and interpersonal skills; able to connect with colleagues at all levels
- Proactive and enthusiastic team player with a solutions-focused approach
- Comfortable working independently and taking initiative to collaborate with others.
- Experience with event planning and coordination is a plus
- Reliable with a flexible approach towards work patterns, including occasional evening or event support

Standard hours are from 9.00am to 5.30pm, there’s flexibility if agreed in advance with your line managers (it may also be necessary on occasions to work outside of these hours).
