A genuinely different digital marketing agency. We do PPC, SEO, Social, Programmatic, Content & Analytics. We're in London, New York, Sydney & Shrewsbury and work effectively with independent digital specialists in nearly 100 international markets to complete projects for our diverse client portfolio.

We are looking for a highly intelligent, charismatic and creative thinking individual who is passionate about SEO.

The successful candidate will have around 2-3 years existing agency experience. You will be keen to learn, want to strive for success and be calm and composed when presenting thoroughly researched insights to clients. An analytical mind-set coupled with a creative flair is a must for this role along with the willingness to drive SEO performance.

The overall purpose of this role is to support the VP of SEO out of our Soho located office in New York. You will be responsible for the management and delivery of SEO scopes for our clients, using both internal resources and our network of specialists, in order to achieve client business objectives and targets. 


This is a mid-level position for a highly intelligent, charismatic and creative thinking individual who is passionate about development, digital marketing and web design. The successful candidate will be a fantastic people person who also enjoys working with data-sets at scale.

Croud New York is looking for a motivated SEO Manager to take the lead with client communication, promoting a positive internal team structure and ultimately, someone who wants to build a career as an SEO.

The SEO Manager will report into an SEO Director or Head of SEO in the SEO channel and will support with the on-going execution for clients. This will include, but is not limited to:

  • Preparing for client meetings with detailed agendas
  • Briefing work out to our network of content and technical SEO specialists globally
  • Building ADPs (Account Development Plans) for clients to help ensure they understand exactly what will be delivered during an engagement
  • Research new optimization techniques to utilize on the accounts
  • Develop and complete client-facing reports, based on accurate data and insightful analysis
  • Provide all necessary information for client proposals utilizing keyword research, competitive analysis, etc.
  • Maintain up-to-date project plans and account documentation
  • Create, update, and analyze client-facing and internal reporting
  • Learn with a fervor all the critical components of SEO as provided by your management at Croud



The applicant should have proficiency in the following key areas of SEO leadership:

SEO Enthusiast

  • You love interacting with the SEO community across online and offline areas
  • You've spoken at events and love teaching the value of SEO to anyone who will listen
  • You've written content for many industry leading publications and love sharing your thoughts about the industry

Data Aficionado

  • Manipulating data is what makes you tick - the world of APIs and SQL databases fascinates you
  • You live for Excel and confidently understand complex formulas, macros and pivot tables
  • Building charts and decks that tell a story is a process you have been through successfully many times before

Technical Specialist

  • You love the world of technology and the possibilities tech brings us
  • You've run many of your own websites and understand the complexities of Javascript, HTML and CSS
  • You love solving complex SEO challenges relating to crawling and indexing

Commercial Centric Team Player

  • You enjoy working with smart people and take joy in finding talent in the SEO space
  • You enjoy working with wider teams (Content, PPC, Paid Social) in finding new solutions for clients that break marketing silos
  • You enjoy building decks and presenting ideas to new business prospects to assist in growing department revenue

 If you are interested in applying then having some of the following skills is hugely advantageous:

  • Passion for SEO and web development, not just in but outside of work
  • Demonstrated examples of web projects / SEO tests / speaking engagements
  • Details of web platforms you have previously run and managed
  • Excel or SQL skills; the ability to manipulate mass data
  • Regex skills or capabilities with CSS selectors; the ability to find search patterns
  • The passion for knowledge and the desire to learn in an ever changing digital world
  • Demonstrating organizational skills - understanding the significance of getting things done
  • Good communication skills - the ability to convey an idea with confidence
  • Knowledge of working with data from important SEO tools like SEMrush, BrightEdge, Conductor, Ahrefs, Majestic etc.
