Associate Director, Biddable
ROLE OVERVIEW
We are looking for a highly intelligent, charismatic and creative thinking individual who is passionate about digital marketing, in particular Paid Search and Paid Social.
The successful candidate will be keen to learn, want to strive for success and have a desire to question everything. An analytical mind-set coupled with a creative flair is a must for this role along with the willingness to take a risk.
The overall purpose of this role is to support the VP and lead the Senior Account Managers, Managers and Associates in implementing biddable marketing strategy for key clients. You will be responsible for the management and delivery of work for our clients, using both internal resources and our network of specialists, in order to achieve client business objectives and targets. You will be responsible for the effective development and implementation of Account Development Plans (ADPs) in order to achieve client’s annual business objectives and targets. You will also be responsible for ensuring cross channel workflows and managing account profitability.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Management
Oversee project planning and budget management for a wide portfolio of accounts
Manage and develop team members via client development frameworks, management, training, and delivery of regular constructive feedback
Develop regular cadence of internal training for biddable teams
Manage team toward targets for operational and profitability metrics
Support Account Managers in hitting client KPIs, ensuring high NPS scores/satisfaction
Monitor and balance workload between team members
Resolve conflicts between team members
Assist with interviewing and hiring
Learn about client businesses, industries, and their marketing plans to provide the best possible strategic guidance on digital media
Align media strategies with client business and marketing goals
Support cross-channel strategy and integrate input from Account Managers into consistent and compelling strategic narratives
Understand what performance is for clients, create performance forecasts and proactively run client planning sessions
Stay informed on the latest developments in the space and ensure clients are staying up-to-date
Work with cross-functional teams to maintain a best-in-class product offering for paid search and social management
Lead the development of best practices and processes; build institutional knowledge of key functions
Work to build relationships with UK teams, understand best practices, process and ways of working - implement in the US to better our proposition
Serve as a key point of contact and first level of issue escalation for clients in managed channels
Support business development by contributing to pitches and cross-selling Croud products to existing clients

PERSON SPECIFICATION
- Degree level education or relevant equivalent experience
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Digital Marketing
Minimum of 4 years’ experience in Paid Search/Paid Social advertising
Excellent communication, organisation, and presentation skills
A mathematical and analytical mind
Exceptional client service skills
Highly organized and an ability to multi-task
Impeccable attention to detail
Proficient typing skills
Excellent Microsoft Office skills which must include Excel (Extensive familiarity with Google Suite a plus)
Proven track record of working to deadlines
Proven time management skills
Proven ability to negotiate.
The ability to autonomously identify opportunities, generate ideas and formulate strategies
Leadership skills: managing direct reports, a motivator
3+ years line management experience, mentoring & training
Proven experience in client expectation management roles and situations, able to manage and direct client expectations
Clear passion for digital marketing and cross channel strategies
TRAVEL
This role may require travel to other Croud offices or to meet clients

Standard hours are from 9.00am to 5.30pm, there’s flexibility if agreed in advance with your line managers (it may also be necessary on occasions to work outside of these hours).
