We are looking for an Adtech Account Executive to join our rapidly growing Digital Transformation team. You’ll ideally have a keen interest in digital advertising data and technologies and be eager to learn more about the Google marketing technology stack (including Google Analytics, Campaign Manager, Search Ads 360, Display & Video 360).
The role would be a great fit for a proactive, organised and methodical problem-solver, who is able to grasp more technical concepts such as marketing tracking methodologies e.g. Google Tag Manager, Google Floodlights.
This role will be key in facilitating partnerships with our Google Marketing Platform (GMP) technology clients at an operational level, from initial consultancy and setup processes, to maximising effectiveness across the tech stack - always driving towards full digital maturity. Marketing technology is exciting, fast-paced and continually evolving, so a talented team of in-house specialists are available to support with the onboarding and ongoing development of the successful candidate too.
Croud operates a hybrid working model with a minimum of 2 days a week based in our Shrewsbury office and the remaining days from home if you wish.
RESPONSIBILITIES
As Adtech Account Executive, your key responsibilities involve delivering first class support to GMP clients, to maximise their effectiveness with the technology. In addition, you will be managing processes and other administrative tasks that are integral to the team’s day to day operations.
Following a training period, you will be responsible for:
- Developing a rounded understanding of the whole GMP ecosystem, including completing individual certification in Google Analytics 360, Campaign Manager, Search Ads 360 and Display & Video 360 platforms
- Delivering first class, proactive and highly responsive support services to GMP clients - Acting as a first point of contact for client queries, assisting with troubleshooting technical issues and escalating to relevant in-house experts, or direct to Google as required
- Supporting with the delivery of set processes and administrative tasks such as invoicing, reporting, client agreements and contracts
- Coordinating client onboarding processes, for example project management of GMP and Tag Management Solutions e.g Floodlight implementations in collaboration with in-house Adops team
- Assisting with business development initiatives, preparing presentations and supporting delivery during introduction calls with clients
- Following internal processes to coordinate the relevant resource and support as required to meet client needs e.g. support ticket creation
- Support the delivery of training to both clients and wider Croud agency colleagues, with support from team leads
- Attending client calls / meetings, supporting with the delivery and administration (preparing presentations, sending follow up communications)
- Maintaining knowledge of industry best practices and new technologies

PERSON SPECIFICATION
- Digital Marketing, Data Analytics or equivalent degree, or demonstrable experience
- Passionate about marketing and technology - able to interpret and relay technical concepts in an understandable format to non-technical people
- Proactive and efficient, with excellent project management skills
- Process driven with strong organisation and administration skills
- Dynamic with time and task management, able to prioritise well and meet deadlines
- Good attention to detail, the ability to work with agility and accuracy
- Collaborative approach, with the confidence to manage internal key stakeholders, wider team and client relationships
- Tenacious and creative problem solving skills
- Excellent IT skills (Google Workspace, Excel, Word…)
It will be advantageous if you also have:
- Knowledge of analytics and marketing tech (eg. Google Analytics, Google Ads, Campaign Manager, Display & Video 360, Search Ads 360)
- Prior work experience in digital account management and digital media platforms
- Understanding of paid or biddable marketing channels such as display or programmatic advertising, paid search (PPC)
- Any experience or understanding of data manipulation tools or programming languages (JavaScript, SQL, html, Python)

Standard hours are from 9.00am to 5.30pm, there’s flexibility if agreed in advance with your line managers (it may also be necessary on occasions to work outside of these hours).
