ROLE OVERVIEW


The IT-Security team maintains the Croud network operationally for its Information Technology and Information Security needs. We are a team dedicated to working towards our end users and external clients’ needs, whilst maintaining high standards for technology and security employed. 

We are looking for a highly intelligent, charismatic and creative thinking individual. You must be passionate about and have a strong background in technology with experience in supporting IT solutions and infrastructure. A willingness to learn about Information Security and its maturity with Croud would also be an advantage. 

The successful candidate will be keen to learn, want to strive for success and have a desire to question everything. An analytical mind-set coupled with a creative flair is a must for this role along with the willingness to take a risk.

RESPONSIBILITIES


  • Responsible for first line remediation / escalation of internal cloud servers during UK out of office hours
  • Support, review and develop Croud’s IT infrastructure and Information Security capabilities
  • Support and administer the IT helpdesk facility for all Croud office hubs to utilise and ensure uptime is maximised for all employees
  • Support the IT procurement process
  • Ensure IT user hardware standardisation and work to maximise IT budget management
  • Assist Croud’s IT planning function in cooperation with the IT Manager and Director of Information Security
  • Responsible for IT policy enforcement and monitoring at Croud
  • Responsible for relevant IT system migrations as required
  • Maintain Croud’s cloud IT capabilities ensuring appropriate security is in place at all levels
  • Support Croud’s IT asset management and adherence to policy
  • Support Croud’s Information Security programme capabilities in cooperation with the IT Manager and Director of Information Security
  • Assist the Director of Information Security in promotion of security awareness and best practices throughout the business


The main activities you would be focused on your day to day would comprise:

  • Developing Croud’s IT capabilities as a business, standardising our hardware whilst developing and managing our IT systems and networks
  • Reviewing and developing our IT infrastructure across all of our hubs (including both On-Premise and Cloud computing)
  • Supporting and managing an IT helpdesk across all offices to provide assistance and resolution to all Croud employees
  • Developing Croud’s IT procurement process and workflows along with wider IT processes
  • Reviewing and improving Croud’s asset management capabilities
  • Ensuring telecommunications across the business are suitable for typical business workloads .
  • Responding in a timely manner to service issues and requests across the company (UK, US, AUS offices)
  • Onboarding/Offboarding Users
  • Ensuring device compliance is maintained 
  • Being central point of contact for NY office whilst also supporting the UK and Australian offices
  • Maintaining client platform access for internal and external entities and ensuring recertification activity is performed on access

  • Direct Line Manager: IT Manager
  • Key Stakeholders: Director of Information Security and Chief of Technology
  • Other stakeholders: End users, external stakeholders and 3rd party vendors

 

 

PERSON SPECIFICATION


  • In-depth demonstrable IT experience in a similar IT support environment is essential
  • Prior experience with Google Workspace,  Microsoft Active Directory services and Intune mobile device management (MDM) is essential
  • Prior experience working within a mixed MS Windows and Apple Mac environment is essential
  • Knowledge of IT solutions and requirements
  • Ability to continuously demonstrate innovation and initiative
  • Highly organised multi-tasker with impeccable attention to detail
  • Excellent communication, organisation, and presentation skills. 
  • Proven ability to influence, persuade and negotiate
  • The ability to autonomously identify opportunities, generate ideas and formulate strategies
  • Ability to communicate technical information to various stakeholder levels
  • Experience of maintaining security controls across corporate and bring your own device (BYOD) assets 


It would be advantageous if you also have:

  • Certification in Microsoft or Google learning paths
  • Prior experience working within the Marketing industry

Standard hours are from 9.00am to 5.30pm, there’s flexibility if agreed in advance with your line managers (it may also be necessary on occasions to work outside of these hours).
